Fisher & Paykel Titan Ceramic hob stainless steel CE901.
The advantages of the ceramic hobs are many. The low profile and uncluttered surface of the cooktop means that it is less disruptive to the flow of the bench. When not in use, the hob forms a useable part of the benchtop rather than breaking it into isolated areas.
The high speed ribbon elements beneath the ceramic glass offer rapid heat up and come in a range of sizes to suit various cooking applications. A dual element further extends the choice for the user. The Surface Hot indicator lights are a comforting safety feature, reminding you of any heat that may be left in the glass after the element has been switched off after use. Each element also has a temperature limiter which will turn the element off if the temperature of the glass gets too hot. This can happen if the element is left on a high setting with no pot to absorb the heat.
