Franke Triflow Corinthian tap
Once you have a Franke Triflow System, the need for expensive bottled water is eliminated. With an advanced Swiss Katadyn filter incorporated, you are assured of the very best filtered water. Hot and cold supplies are mixed and dispensed separately from the purified channel.
Reminscent of an earlier era these practical taps combine the technology of the milennium with a tasteful time honoured shape. The central lever diverts the water to ceramic cartridge incorporating a scientifically formulated blend of purification material which is proven to remove microscopically small particles and harmful bacteria, if they are present. This then goes through it's own water channel, thus preventing cross contamination with hot & cold supply.
The Triflow and Tri-Pure taps work by diverting the cold supply of water through a ceramic and carbon cartridge. An additional waterway hidden inside the tap handles the flow of purified water, and ensures that untreated hot or cold supplies do not contaminate it Click Here for Diagram.
Exclusively manufactured in Switzerland for Triflow and Tri-Pure taps, the FRX 02 Filter cartridge is impregnated with Bacteriostatic silver, and removes even microscopic impurities and pathogenic bacteria – right down to 0.2 of a micron (remember, the average width of a human hair is 50 microns). The cartridge's carbon core reduces organics, smells (e.g. chlorine) and unpleasant tastes.
Although the FRX02 cartridge supplied as standard with most new Triflow and Tri-Pure taps is usually more than adequate, specialist cartridges for tackling different water quality problems are available. These include pre-filters and solid carbon filters.
